Amber Brooke Holland of Liberty County was named the 68th annual Little Miss Georgia Forestry earlier this summer in Tifton.
Overall, 274 girls throughout Georgia represented their counties and colleges in the pageant.
Holland received a scholarship, along with the official Miss Georgia Forestry crown, sash, crowning pin, silver engraved tray, robe and more than $1,000 in gifts.
She will serve as Georgia’s ambassador for the upcoming year in promoting Georgia’s leading industry, forestry.
Holland will travel the state, promoting the forestry industry speaking and appearing at festivals, the Georgia National Fair, the Georgia AG Expo, the Georgia Agricultural Day at the Capitol, Legislative Day at the Capitol and other events.
She is expected to make about 30 appearances this upcoming year, including being featured in a statewide television commercial.
The newly crowned queens advance to the Miss U.S. National Forestry Pageant to be on Labor Day weekend in Tifton.
Holland is the 7-year-old daughter of Pepper and James Holland.
