The Rev. Roy Broughman, senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Hinesville, spoke to the Goldenheirs at their January meeting. Broughman touched on his expectations for the new year and encouraged club members to get involved in spreading the Gospel locally and around the world.
Broughman moved to Hinesville more than a year ago with his wife, Stacy, and their children, Levi and Lydia.
The Goldenheirs is a senior group that meets the first Tuesday of every month at noon in First Baptist Church’s fellowship hall for a covered-dish lunch and a program.
The next meeting is Feb. 5. A representative from H&R Block will speak and provide information about income taxes. All senior citizens are invited to attend.
