Santa brought his workshop to the Liberty County Armed Services Family YMCA recently to the delight and joy of the children and parents who stopped by for a visit.
This was the first year the YMCA hosted a Christmas community gathering and the basketball court was transformed into a Santa’s workshop and a playground for children of all ages.
In one corner of the room, Santa’s elves were busy handing out toys to the children while several youngsters played in the huge, indoor, bounce-house slide.
Food and cookies were served and the children had an opportunity to make their own Christmas decorations.
