“I see all the comments about Chick-Fil-A being closed on Sunday. I think it is a good idea. However, other companies are trying to make the same claim, just for one more day off. Hobby Lobby is an example. Chick-fil-A has a wholesome reason, but the employees at Hobby Lobby are just copying as an excuse for one more day off.”

“Are schools as safe as we think they are? We have so much bullying going on. I understand a BB gun was found in a student’s bookbag at Lyman Hall. It can be a BB gun today and a .45 tomorrow. What’s being done to ensure parents that safety precautions are in place? Why were parents contacted after school had been dismissed? I questioned did the school go on a lockdown? What’s it gonna take? A school shooting to do what needs to be done. This is a sad world we live in.”

“We need to quit bickering and even saying things or repeating things we hear from others that are not useful or helpful in making positive changes in this community “

“Councilwoman Reid is not shy about making comments that her brother needs to be promoted and now she questions the police department about promotions in general. Reid won’t stop until she’s in charge of all departments and city hall!”

“Landlords with over ten units who unlawfully keep deposits must pay three times the security amount withheld. GA Law 44-7-30/37”

“Billy Edwards and Linda Hall’s letters were well written. I enjoyed reading them.”

“Liberty County, the mosquitoes are terrible. We need you to spray. They’re killing us at the country club.”

“From top to bottom the leadership in America is the worst I’ve ever seen it. And I’ve been an American for 71 years. I’ve never seen anything take place like this, the things that are said and the things that are done. America’s got to make better choices about who is going to lead us.”

“I was given the number for the EMA hotline during the storm. I called to get some medical help. The woman said she’d call me back, but to this day she has not called back. That hotline is a fail.”

“Everybody needs to contact their senators and congressman to pass a law to protect our flag from these home-grown terrorists.”

“The caller about Long County codes is absolutely right. They get what they want, act like you want. You can have 20 vehicles in your yard and trash all over and they don’t care.”

“After reading the Edwards evaluations in the Courier you can obviously tell this was a race based decision. There was no apparent reason why the city manager should have been removed for these type of evaluations.”

“If all your customers say please, will you please put the color back on the comics?”
