Pageant in Long County Nov. 3

The Miss Christmas Holiday Beauty Pageant is scheduled for 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Long County High School lunchroom.
All entries must be received by Nov. 2. Entries will not be accepted at the door. Forms may be emailed to Kelli Mock at kellimock@yahoo.com and pay Saturday night.
Judges will score each contestant on beauty, poise, personality and over-all appearance. Score sheets will be given out after crowning.
Winners in each age division for prettiest smile and best dress will receive an award.
There will be one overall queen; there will be no double crowning. If there are 40 or more contestants, there will be two overall queens.
There is a $50 entry fee that includes beauty, best dress, prettiest smile and overall.
Age divisions are baby (birth-1 year), toddler (2-3 years), tiny (4-6 years), petite (7-9 years), pre-teen (10-12 years), junior miss (13-15 years), miss (16-18 years), Ms./Mrs. (19 and older).

Admission is $3 for everyone, except the contestants.
The person who turns in the most money will receive an award.
Practice will take place at 7 p.m. Nov. 2. This is not a mandatory practice.
The people’s choice queen will receive a banner, crown,and trophy. Don’t forget to bring your dollars and vote for your favorite contestant.
There will be no age grace period. Contestants must compete in the age group they are on the day of the pageant. There will be no exceptions. There will be no toleration of misbehaving, unsportsmanlike conduct, being rude or mean to other contestants - before or during the competition.
