Jeffrey Manuel Lopez, a 2010 Liberty County High School graduate, graduated from Coast Guard basic training Dec. 21 in Camp May, N.J. He was selected for the United States Coast Guard Ceremonial Honor Guard. He will join his twin brother in Alexandria, Va.
Lopez is the son of Alonso and Monica Lopez of Hinesville.

Lupo graduates from basic
Navy Seaman Recruit Julia L. Lupo, daughter of Billy R. Lupo Jr. and sister of Jessica L. Wells of Hinesville, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Ill.
Lupo is a 2010 graduate of Bradwell Institute.
