Winners crowned at Miss Independence Day Pageant

The Miss Independence Day Pageant recently was held in Ludowici.  

Abby Phillips won the baby miss division, the prettiest-dress award, the prettiest-smile award and the people’s choice award.  Trinity Driggers was first runner-up to the baby miss title and won the most-sponsored award.

In the tiny miss division, Isabella Matos won the crown and the awards for prettiest smile and prettiest dress.
Natalie Matos took the crown in the toddler miss division, while also winning the awards for prettiest smile, prettiest dress and the overall crown for the younger-age divisions.

In the junior miss division, Ashley Middleton won the crown and awards for prettiest dress and prettiest smile. In the ms. division, Ciara Wine took home the title, while Alexis Snelling won for prettiest dress award and prettiest smile and the overall crown for the older girls.

Chezney Cassell and Ashlynn Hughes distributed the crowns to the winners.

“Thank you to our judges, contestants, parents, audience and sponsors,” pageant coordinator Kelli Mock said. “Our next event will be in October when we have the Miss Long County Wildlife Pageant at the Wildlife Festival.”
Mock said that this pageant will be a western-wear-only event.
