Coastal Home Care recently celebrated the grand opening of its fourth practice with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location at 531 S. Main St. in Hinesville.
Branch manager Emily Atkins and her staff greeted chamber members and community supporters to inform them of their services.
Coastal Home Care Inc. has been serving Savannah and Coastal Georgia for nearly 30 years. The company originally was known as Eldercare and more recently as Southern Home Care Services. The company’s owners and managers share more than 175 years of experience in the field of home care.
The company advocates for Medicaid waivers and home- and community-based services. It also advocated to the state of Georgia to implement licensure for private home-care providers in 1993 and is one of the first private providers (in the 1980s) to contract with area agencies on aging to deliver home-care services.
The company is licensed by Georgia as a private home-care provider and offers a range of services from simple companionship, homemaking, errands, personal care and skilled nursing. Employees assist their clients in their own homes as well as in hospitals, nursing homes and assisted-living centers. Coastal Home Care also offers care-management and assessment services. The company’s other offices are in Savannah, Statesboro and Brunswick.
Coastal Home Care’s staff welcomed chamber members to their new location with hors d’oeuvres and beverages from fellow chamber member Paul Kennedy Catering. Coastal Home Care was congratulated by the chamber of commerce, chamber ambassadors, Elaine Boggs Realty Group and neighboring businesses. For more information, go to www.CoastalHomeCare.us.
