Susan L. Nelson has been named retail advertising manager for Morris Multimedia publications in Hinesville and Bryan County. She has experience in the newspaper industry, having previously worked for Morris Communications in the classified- and retail-advertising departments.

“I’ve known Susan for a long time and am glad to have her leading our retail advertising team for the Coastal Courier and Bryan County News,” regional publisher Mark Griffin said. “Sue has a strong background and solid understanding of print and online media trends and will help our advertisers reach more audience.”

“This is a great fit for me, and I really look forward to helping our retail staff meet the needs of our local businesses,” Nelson said. “We offer quality newspapers and magazines and the most popular websites in the area, so I am eager to tell our story.”

Nelson is a Savannah native and a graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School. She attended Georgia Southern University, Armstrong Atlantic State University and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Nelson lives in Savannah with her daughter, Hannah, and is a member of Savannah Christian Church.
