Progress Through People set for Oct. 12

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host a Progress Through People Luncheon at noon on Oct.  12 at the Liberty County Performing Arts Center located at 2140 E. Oglethorpe Highway in Flemington. The event will be sponsored by the Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau (LCCVB).

The LCCVB is the official destination marketing organization for Liberty County and also the official Camera Ready liaison for the community. The LCCVB actively markets and sells the destination brand experience to increase visitor spending and enhance community well-being and resident quality of life, maximizing economic impact through stimulation of economic development and growth.

 “If you have ever wondered what the CVB is and what we do, this is your chance to hear from folks outside of Liberty County about the job that we perform as speakers will include folks from the Georgia CVB,” said Liberty County Chamber/CVB CEO, Leah Poole.
