Wingstop gets one step closer

A Wingstop restaurant soon will open in Hinesville after the negotiation of a lease with Jimmy Shanken at Coldwell Banker Commercial Holtzman, Realtors for the building at 207 W. Gen. Screven Way.

No opening date has been reported.

According to the company’s website, Wingstop was founded in 1994 and has more than 600 restaurants operating or in development. The company was voted the No. 1 chicken-wing chain by Entrepreneur magazine in 2005.

There are five Wingstop locations in Georgia: Atlanta, Augusta, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville and Martinez.
