The Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCCVB) recently announced that Leah Poole, Liberty County Chamber/CVB CEO, is one of the finalists in the 2019 Coastal Wildscapes Photography Contest.

The organization compiles a yearly photography contest where the pictures have to follow a specific theme. This year’s theme was Looking Inland: Fire, Forests, & Floodplains, in which Poole’s black and white photograph was named third runner up. Coastal Wildscapes is showcasing the photographs Jan. 4, 2019, at the Ritz Theater in Brunswick.

“It is always nice to be recognized for the good work we do and taking photos of Liberty County is always a pleasure that never gets old,” Poole said.

Coastal WildScapes is a 501 (c)(3) organization formed in 2008 to address the increasing need to educate and engage the public in practices that will preserve the biodiversity of the Georgia coast.
