The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Foundation (LCCOCF) is now accepting applications for their scholarship program for high school seniors in Liberty County. The LCCOCF is looking to award a $500 scholarship to a qualifying senior in Liberty County.

The LCCOCF is looking for a senior who demonstrates exceptional academic achievement and leadership potential. Other general qualifications are that the applicant must be a current senior of a high school in Liberty County, a resident of Liberty County and must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

“We are very excited about this new scholarship program named in honor of Toby Mahan, a prior Chamber Chairman who passed away several years ago and has left a lasting impact on our organization. We are looking forward to supporting a senior in the academic journey as he or she progresses forward toward higher education,” said Leah Poole, president and CEO of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce/CVB.

Applications can be found at (libertycounty.org), or you can email director@libertycounty.org. Seniors must submit their applications by 5 p.m. on April 15, 2024.
