Services have been restored to the thousands of Comcast customers who lost internet, cable and phone service Tuesday morning.

According to Comcast representatives, a contractor performing work for Comcast accidentally cut a fiber line near Hinesville.

The team worked around the clock to repair the network, Comcast officials said, and the company offered its apologies for the inconvenience the incident caused its customers.
