Dedication of trees to honor 3 soldiers

FORT STEWART - The 3rd Infantry Division and Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield will honor three fallen heroes with a tree dedication ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Warriors Walk.
Pvt. Ronald R. Harrison, 25, of Morris Plains, N.J., died April 22 at Forward Operating Base Falcon near Baghdad, Iraq, of a non-combat related injury. He was assigned to the 703rd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team.
Spc. Mary J. Jaenichen, 20, of Temecula, Calif., died May 9 in Iskandariyah, Iraq, of a non-combat related injury.  She was assigned to the Brigade Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team.
Pfc. Kyle P. Norris, 22, of Zanesville, Ohio, died May 23 in Balad, Iraq, from wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device during a patrol May 22 in Jurf as Sakhr, Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team.
The addition of a memorial tree for each of these fallen Soldiers will bring the total number of trees on Warriors Walk to 411. These Eastern Red Bud trees planted on Warrior's Walk serve as a living monument to the great men and women of the U.S. Army, the National Guard, and the 3rd Infantry Division Soldiers who were immortalized by their sacrifices.
