HINESVILLE, Ga. — Chairwoman W. Renea Camper and the members of the Liberty County Democratic Committee (LCDC) will host a VIP and general reception, “An Evening Under the Oaks,” featuring a surprise special guest and live entertainment on Saturday, April 30, beginning at 5 p.m. at Club Stewart, 1020 Hero Road, Building 405, Fort Stewart, GA 31314.

Attire is business casual, and all tickets include the evening’s entertainment, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

The LCDC will use proceeds from this event to fund operations and the 2022 “Get Out the Vote” (GOTV) activities for all Democratic candidates on the ballot. The support of local businesses and community members is crucial to getting Democrats elected and keeping Georgia blue. The event is co-hosted by the Chatham County Democratic Committee and Chairman James “Jay” Jones.

Local, statewide and federal Democratic candidates, all elected officials, citizens, business owners and organizations are invited. Advance tickets are $55 if purchased before April 15, and sponsorship opportunities are available online. The deadline to purchase sponsorships and early tickets is April 15 at 5 p.m. Late tickets are $90. Tickets will not be available at the door. Full details can be found at https://bit.ly/Evening UnderTheOaks2022.

According to Camper, who is also vice chair for the 1st Congressional District of the Democratic Party of Georgia, “An Evening Under the Oaks” culminates a weekend of critical political meetings and events in Coastal Georgia.

“It is important to note that the Democratic leadership in the 1st Congressional District is working hard to welcome to our tent all persons who share our values of a strong middle class, integrity in government, and equality and justice for all Georgians. Collectively we can influence policy and amplify the message of Democrats.”

The LCDC strives to be the leading expert voice of Democrats in Liberty County, Georgia; to educate voters; to recruit, train and elect Democrats for local, statewide and federal offices; to raise operating and programming funds; and to grow and maintain a diverse community of professionally trained members and volunteers within an ethical, technologically current and transparent environment of reporting.
