Spreading holiday cheer this season, DICK’s Sporting Goods Sports Matter program donated a $1,000 grant to the local YMCA of Coastal Georgia.

“It’s awesome and I feel happy that during this time of year we can do this,” Store Manager Matt Robinson said. “It’s great that when we do our donation drives, we can give back to this community.”

The DICK’S Sports Matter program raises awareness and funds for youth sports programs in need across the country.

“It’s always a great feeling to get support from the community,” YMCA Director Mark Whitten said. “It is bigger than just $1000, this helps in many ways especially during the holidays.”
