On Feb. 4, the Bradwell Institute SkillsUSA team attended the Region 8 competition in Brunswick. The Golden Isles Career Academy hosted the event. The BI students will advance to the state competition in March.
Results from the competition are as follows:
• Ashley Alicea: job demonstration open, first place
• Taylor Lange: extemporaneous speaking, first place
• Lawrence Murray: advertising design, second place
• Jessica Schrick: first aid/CPR, second place
• AuShante Sherman: pre-school teaching assistant, first place
• Jasmine Shy: prepared speech, second place
• Charlie Wilson: graphic communications, first place
