Walker Middle School FBLA members participated in the second annual “Warm a Life” campaign this year. The students collected new and used blankets to hand out to local homeless people and shelters. They partnered with Mark Cooper of Factor’s Cottage, Inc., who first encouraged the club to help him with his annual blanket drive. Last year, the club donated about 60 blankets. This year, the club exceeded its previous total and donated more than 90 blankets and 60 jackets to help warm the lives of others at Christmas. The blankets will be handed out on Christmas Eve.
