State Rep. Al Williams, D-Midway read “Don’t Be a Bully, Billy” on Tuesday to a Pre-K class at Hinesville Childcare Learning Center Inc. in celebration of Pre-K Week.
Hinesville Child Care Learning Center recently received the highest rating — three stars — in the Quality Rated program, an initiative of Bright from the Start, under the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. Quality Rated assigns a rating to child-care programs that meet standards for staff training, demonstrated knowledge of child development and best practices for children.
Other local quality-rated child-care programs include Heavenly Place Learning Center, Bright Star Day Care and child-care provider Eva Polite, according to Katrina Chance, Child Care and Resource Referral assistant director.
