Donnie Pulliam, son of Monica Robertson and James Payno, will travel to Australia this summer with the People to People Ambassador Program. He recently was interviewed and accepted an invitation to the program.
People to People was established by President Dwight Eisenhower. The program promotes international understanding while building leadership skills among America’s youth. The 21-day experience includes meetings with government officials, educational activities and home stays with a host family.
Donnie is a 10th-grade honor student at Liberty County High School and maintains a 4.0 grade point average. He also is involved in various clubs. He is the president of the 4-H Club in Liberty County, a member of the student council, FBLA and FCCLA club and holds a leadership position in band. Coll makes Southern Miss. dean’s list

The University of Southern Mississippi recently announced that Edgar Jorge Rodriguez Coll was named to the school’s dean’s lists for the 2010 fall semester. Coll attends classes at the university’s Hattiesburg campus in Hinesville.
To be eligible for the list, students must carry between a 3.5 and a 4.0 grade point average.
