Teams of students at Lewis Frasier Middle School have been playing the stock market this year, one even taking their skills to state competition.
Team DALCA placed first in the region and 25th in the state earning large returns on their investments in just 10 weeks.
Team DALCA was recognized during a luncheon in Atlanta on April 24. Team members include Chantell Ueligatone, Amarie Taylor, Aushante Singleton, Dawannes Butler and Laramie Clevenger.
“Team JJETTS” placed second in the region. Team members include Jasmine Brewington, Jabria Carlton, Trevor Gullett, Taliyah Thomas and Shaquira Smith.
“Team HOT BOIS” placed third in the region. Team members include Joseph Davis, Jashua Bhimull, Darian Jackson and Rahad Burton.
“Team Da Mad Money Makers” placed fourth in the region. Team members include Alexis Lee, Ebony Brown, Tisha Jones and Aleah Smith.
“Team Black Diamonds” placed fifth in the region. Team members include Elexis Howell, Courtney Arnold, Sarah Tyson, Jared Amiker and Vanecia Pickett.
