Preschool story time

Black History Month Celebration
Come celebrate Black history Month at the Library. Join us at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Liberty branch; we’ll be making an African American Heritage Quilt to display at the library, and you will have something to take home too. For all ages.

Spring/Summer Garden Vegetables
Join us at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Liberty Branch, Master Gardner  Bob Puckett will present information about growing garden vegetables in the spring and summer for small scale, home gardens. He will also take questions from the audience.

Black History Bingo
Join us at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Midway-Riceboro Branch to celebrate Black History Month with this special bingo program. Ages four and up.

Tea and Tales Book Group
This book group meets at the Midway-Riceboro Branch Library every three weeks on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Please join us on Thursday, Feb. 15, for a discussion, of “Horse Heaven” by Jane Smiley. For more information call 884-5742

Introduction to the Internet
A beginner’s course on using the Internet will be offered on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. The class will cover using the Internet Explorer browser to navigate through the Internet and print web pages. Prerequisite: Introduction to Windows or equivalent knowledge. To register call 368-4003

Intermediate Word
An intermediate course using the popular Word software will be offered Tuesday Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. Learn more about complex formatting such as columns, headers, footnotes, and drop caps. Prerequisite: Introduction to Word. To register call 368-4003

Introduction to Power Point
A beginner’s course on how to use this presentation software will be offered Thursday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. Learn how to create multi-media presentations for school and business. Prerequisite: Introduction to Windows or comparable experience. To register call 368-4003

Homework help at our library
Homework help at your Library on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. Stumped on your latest school project? Let us help. During this special session, we’ll show you how to use the library’s resources to get that project done.  Recommended for students grade four and up. To register, call 368-4003.
