STATESBORO — Georgia Southern University recently had its spring commencement for graduate and undergraduate students at Hanner Fieldhouse and Allen E. Paulson Stadium.

More than 3,300 degrees were presented during two separate ceremonies.

STATESBORO — Georgia Southern University recently recognized 1,194 students for excellence in academics on the 2015 spring semester president’s list.

To be eligible for the list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Master’s graduates
ATLANTA — Georgia State University graduated more than 5,700 students receiving bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s degrees at the university’s spring and summer commencement in the Georgia Dome.

They include two from Hinesville.

Lakeshia Stinson graduated with a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education.

Deon Villasencio graduated with a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration.

Reinhardt graduate
WALESKA, GA — Sarah Hewett of Midway  was among the 173 students who graduated from Reinhardt University in the spring semester of 2015.

Hewett graduated with a Master of Business Admin in Business Administration.

Associate degree
Michael Bailey of Hinesville has earned an A.A.S. from Barton Community College. He graduated from the Great Bend, Kansas, school this spring.

Honors graduate
ATLANTA Janee Nealey of Hinesville was one of more than 150 students graduating from Georgia State University’s Honors College this spring.
