The City of Hinesville is teaming up with WomenHeart Hinesville, Liberty County School System and Liberty Regional Medical Center to host the WomenHeart Hinesville “Every Heart Matters” 5K and health fair from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, May 11 at Bryant Commons Park.

WomenHeart: the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease was founded in 1999 by three survivors of heart disease – Nancy Loving, Jackie Markham and Judy Mingram. Each had a heart attack in their 40s and underwent significant rehabilitation afterwards. The organization was founded with the intention to educate women about the dangers of heart disease. Additionally, WomenHeart provides support to women diagnosed with heart disease through a series of local chapters headed by recovering/recovered patients.
