A woman was killed on I-95 Wednesday afternoon when her vehicle slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer not far from the Midway exit.

According to Georgia State Patrol Trooper Elmer Martin, the tractor was parked on the shoulder of the interstate in the south bound lane when the woman slammed into the rear of the trailer around 3 p.m.

I-95 southbound is completely closed from mile marker 77.
