Flemington Council allocates American Rescue Plan funds

At a special work session in February, the Flemington City Council allocated $60,000 of its first tranche of ARPA funding to the non-profit and medical sectors in the form of grants.

On Monday, May 2, City Council held a work session to review ARPA grant applications and approved the following awards:

• Liberty County Boys & Girls Club — $2,000

• The Puzzle Pack Autism Support Group — $3,333

• Tri-County Protective Agency — $3,333

• Hinesville Area Council for the Arts — $3,333

• Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau — $3,333

• Veterans Voice & Visions, Inc. — $3,333

• Liberty County Re-entry Coalition — $3,333

• Hospital Authority of Liberty County — $3,333

• Second Chance Equine Rescue — $3,333

• Atlantic Area CASA, Inc. — $3,333

• Doright Ministry Community Development, Inc. — $3,333

• Grace Counseling Services — $3,333

• JC Vision & Associates, Inc. — $3,333

• Next Level Foundation — $2,000

• Next Level Christian Center — $3,333

• Christian Women’s Ministry at First United Methodist Church — $1,000

• Family Promise of the Coastal Empire — $3,333

• Keep Liberty Beautiful — $5,000

• American Cancer Society/Relay for Life — $3,333
