Girls on the Run Coastal Georgia and Lowcountry and the Liberty County Armed Services YMCA are teaming up to present Camp GOTR: Girls Have Heart this summer.

Girls Have Heart, for rising 3rd-5th grade girls, will run June 10-14 and July 22-26, beginning at 9 a.m. The fee is $150. To register visit the Liberty County ASYMCA at 201 Mary Lou Drive in Hinesville or visit ymcaofcoastalga.org.

Camp GOTR: Girls Have Heart helps girls to develop self-confidence and learn leadership skills they can use now and as they grow.

During Camp GOTR: Girls Have Heart, girls enjoy being physically active, expressing creativity through arts & crafts, storytelling and engaging in interactive lessons while building friendships in a fun and inclusive setting. The life skills curriculum is delivered by caring and qualified coaches who are trained to implement lessons as intended. The Girls on the Run programs use running and other physical activities as a platform for teaching life skills and promoting holistic health outcomes for girls.

In addition to Camp GOTR: Girls Have Heart, the Y also offers traditional camps and specialty camps all summer.  Camps open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. with the Day Camps, including Girls Have Heart, beginning at 9 a.m.

Breakfast and lunch is provided to campers throughout the summer. Financial assistance is available for all Camps at the YMCA.

Girls on the Run Coastal Georgia and Lowcountry is sponsored by Sylvan Learning, CPPI of Georgia, Peach State Health Plan and Palmetto Financial.
