Hinesville firefighters battled a blaze at Papa John's Pizza located in the Kroger shopping center the evening of March 12.

According to the firefighters the Papa John's pizzeria is expected to be closed for some time due to fire and water damage.

Kroger employees were allowed to enter the building to secure the facility but the store remained closed to the public for the evening. Kroger is now open during their regular hours today.
