The Integrity Tax Service in Hinesville had its grand opening this past Saturday. Kenya Ala, head of Integrity, spoke at the event and shared her hopes for the business as well as the others that were represented.

In addition to its opening, there was also a back-to- school supply giveaway as well as a Toys for Tots fundraiser and collection hosted by the Marines.

Also on board for the event was Relay for Life discussing options for cancer patients to give them the resources they need.

“I hope people will leave here a little less stressed about Christmas, but a little more knowledgeable about the Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society,” said Ala. Ms. Ala is a resident of Liberty County and she has volunteered with Toys for Tots for the last few years.

She has also worked with Relay for Life for the last five or six years. She wanted to use the event as an opportunity to plug these charitable events in addition to her own up and coming business.

“I just thought it was a good, integral thing to add and do instead of just doing a simple ‘Hey, come see my business.’” Keep Liberty Beautiful, headed by Dr. Karen Bell was also there.

Bell, like Ala, was passionate and enthusiastic about the charitable giveaways and wanted to use as a platform especially the Relay for life.

“I’m hoping people will come by so we can share the information about Relay for Life 2022,” said Dr. Bell. “For any community event is always a great opportunity to share the information about your organization.”

Bell also distributed pollinators for kids for they can make their own bird feeders.

A bounce house was also represented as part of the festivities.

As for Integrity, Ala said her long-term goals are to be a good staple so people know that they can count on them come tax season and make a business with a lot of longevity to it.
