LCDA Hosts Leadership Class

The Leadership Liberty class had  its economic development session May 1, as part of a 9-month leadership development class.

The class participants met at the Liberty County Development Authority (LCDA) for an overview of economic development in Liberty County before embarking on interactive tours of major facilities that impact development through the products and services they offer. The class visited and engaged in presentations from SNF Holding Company, Coastal EMC and the Georgia Ports Authority.

Leadership Liberty participants meet at least once per month and learn about various functions of the community including county government, city government, public health, public education, tourism and economic development.
