HINESVILLE, GA – The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will be accepting applications for the 2020-21 class of Leadership Liberty beginning in July.

Going into its sixteenth year, Leadership Liberty is an eight-month class, which will meet at least once per month to focus on some area of the community. Topics covered include: county government, city government, public health, education, tourism, economic development and more.

The Leadership Liberty class began in 2004 with participants who either reside or work in Liberty County. It has also allowed participants to take part in the leadership modules provided by the Fanning Institute of Leadership at the University of Georgia.

This group travels to Atlanta to observe state government to see how it operates and can also meet with elected leaders. The cost of the program is $700, which includes overnight accommodation, food and transportation to the capital.
