Ameris Bank NEW

As the spread of Coronavirus increases across the nations, several businesses continue to add safety measure for the safety of their customers and their employees.

Ameris Bank Hinesville Branch President James Rogers said they are closing their lobby to prevent spreading the virus.

“Our drive in is open and can take care of most all needs,” Rogers said.

He added that the bank ATM’s can accept deposits of cash and checks as well.

“If you need to access your safe deposit box or discuss a loan need please call myself (912-977-4495 / 408-2185) or Danny 408-2184 and we will get you in and taken care of,” Rogers said.

Barbara Martin of GeoVista Credit Union and Joe Ford of South Georgia Bank both said they are following those same guidelines and closing their lobbies as well.

Also closing their lobby for the time being is State Farm Insurance office of Melissa Carter Ray.

Liberty County Tax Commissioner Virgil Jones said  his office has also closed and information about operations can be found at: www.libertygatax.com

"Our lobbies are closed but we are still staffed and attempting to serve as many citizens as we can under these circumstances," Jones said.
