Area lawmaker on panel studying industry incentives

ATLANTA — Georgia House Speaker David Ralston, R-Blue Ridge, has appointed state Rep. Ron Stephens, R-Savannah, to the Joint Study Committee on Industry Incentives for Financial Technologies and the Payment Processing Industry.

This study committee was created by Senate Resolution 883 and will study financial incentives for the payments processing industry so that Georgia can remain a leader in securing financial transactions across the global marketplace.
