The Hinesville Downtown Development Authority announced Friday that country artist Darryl Worley will perform at the Amphitheatre at Bryant Commons on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The performance will be the first for the venue, nestled within a public park on the 150-acre former estate of the late state Sen. Glenn E. Bryant.

HDDA Executive Director Vicki Davis said that tickets will be $25 for all seats and will go on sale in June.

The Nashville, Tenn., artist is known for the hit “Have You Forgotten” and has released six albums since 2000, according to his website. His next album, “One Time Around,” is slated for release in June.

He also performed for special operations forces in Afghanistan and Kuwait on a trip sponsored by Armed Forces Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Stars for Stripes.

The Courier will provide ticket information when it becomes available.
