Debris pickup in Hinesville will continue through the weekend, according to the city.

Here’s the announcement from Public Affairs Manager Brittany McClure.

“The City of Hinesville entered into a contract with Crowder Gulf, a debris management company, to gain assistance in our yard debris pickup post-Hurricane Matthew. The first pass of storm debris pickup was originally scheduled to be completed today, Friday, Oct. 28. Due to the large volume of debris in the City of Hinesville, the first pass has been extended and crews will work through the weekend to complete the first pass of debris pickup.”
