Liberty Regional Medical Center Rehabilitation Center marked the re-opening in a new place in the hospital with a ribbon cutting Monday.

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce hosted the ceremony inside the hospital at 462 E.G Miles Parkway in Hinesville.

LRMC CEO Mike Hester said he was excited and thanked staff, board members and those in attendance for their support.

"The goal in having physical therapy [inside the hospital] was to provide more convenience to patients." Hester said, "The long-term vision of having physical therapy inside [the hospital] is that eventually we will be able to support more long-term rehab or swing-bed rehab for those patients that may have surgeries here at Liberty Regional."
