Long REACH

Keshawn Smith, Abigail Rowan, Betnzy Pina-Sotelo, Yazmin Coronel-Garcia, and Jabreiah Brown signed contracts committing to satisfying requirements of the $10,000 REACH scholarship Thursday. REACH is an academic scholarship is given to 8th-grade students and includes an academic mentor and coach for high school and post-secondary education. Students who successfully complete the program receive a $10,000 scholarship for a HOPE-eligible University System of Georgia, Technical College System of Georgia, or private post-secondary institution. This is the first time Long County has participated in the REACH program.
