Man with area ties graduates from warrant officer candidate school: Army Warrant Officer Jonathan F. Adams has graduated from the Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Rucker, Ala.

He is the son of Cindy and Dennis Goodmanson of Midway.

Tige graduates from naval basic: Navy Seaman Michael D. Tige, a 2011 graduate of First Presbyterian Christian Academy of Hinesville, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Tige is the son of Pamela Y. Tige of Allenhurst.
