Motorcycle crash in Allenhurst injures two

A motorcycle wreck Wednesday afternoon in Allenhurst injured two, authorities said.

Two people were injured Wednesday when a man lost control of his motorcycle in Allenhurst.  According to Liberty County Sheriff.s Office Deputy Lt. Andy Gose. the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Oglethorpe Highway when he lost control near Saint Johns Road shortly after 5 p.m.  The rider and his passenger were off the motorcycle when a car hit it, dragging it 190 feet. 

 The passenger on the motorcycle was transported to Winn Army Community Hospital on Fort Stewart.  The driver of the motorcycle refused treatment though he had an injury to his leg and was limping.  

A passenger in the vehicle was treated at the scene.
