Fall fishing springs in
Tightline

I believe our fall fishing season has started.
I received several fishing reports this past week of trout and bass and it looks like we are going to have a good fishing season.
These are the fishing reports I have received in the past week.
John Rogers, fishing with Larry Wells, landed 13 trout and six bass; Robert and Ronny Moody caught 30 trout and 10 bass; Billy, Lori and Emma Kirk landed 25 trout, one flounder and one whiting; Joel Rushing, fishing with Mike Clifton, caught 19 trout and seven bass; Bing Phillips, fishing with his wife, landed 30 trout and seven bass; Mike Clifton, fishing with Neal Howard, landed 23 trout, seven bass and one flounder; Mike Ray, fishing with his daughter, caught 18 trout and five bass; Jake Horten, fishing with Shawn Branson, landed 30 trout and four flounder; Phillip Bohanan and party caught 18 trout and six bass; Roy Redman, fishing for three days, caught 45 trout. Rayburn Goodman of Yellow Bluff reported having a good supply of live minnows and shrimp.
If you do go fishing, remember to always keep a tight line.
P.S. There is nothing better than fresh fried trout and some hot cheese grits in the morning.
