Plenty of ways to celebrate Easter

Egg-cellent hunts

• There will be an egg hunt from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at Johnnie Frasier Park in Walthourville. There will be games and hayrides.

• The Long County Chamber of Commerce and The Clubhouse In Rye Patch will have an Easter egg hung at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Clubhouse. Children under 10 years old may participate. Pony rides will be available.

Hungry?

• Club Stewart and Hunter Club will have an Easter day brunch from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday at Club Stewart, building 405, and Hunter Club, building 6015. Cost is $14.95 per person.

Attend a service

• Midway Congregational Church will celebrate Easter with a sunrise service at 6 a.m. and an Easter service at 11 a.m. Sunday at the church, 8815 E. Oglethorpe Highway.

• The Historic Church in Midway will have a sunrise Easter service at 7 a.m. Sunday at the church on Highway 17 and Martin Road. There will be music. Breakfast will be served after the service.

• Solomon Temple Church of Christ will have its annual sunrise service at 6 a.m. Sunday at the church, 1783 Lewis Frasier Road, Midway. The Easter program will be at 11:30 a.m. Sunday during the regular service.

• St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Ludowici will have its annual Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. Breakfast will be served afterward.

• St. James Community Church will have its Easter sunrise program at 6 a.m. Sunday, and the regular morning service is at 11:30 a.m. The church is at 1140 Holmestown Road, Midway.
