A search is under way in Hinesville for the person who robbed the GeoVista Credit Union on Link Street on Thursday morning.

Police have surrounded the area and are conducting a search. Hinesville Police Department Chief of Detectives Maj. Thomas Cribbs said authorities are looking for a black male wearing camouflage clothing.

In addition, law-enforcement officials are investigating a vehicle found on Second Street that may be connected to the robbery.
