Injured motorcyclist life-flighted to Savannah

A man driving a motorcycle down Rye Patch Road in Long County lost control of the bike at around 3 a.m. Friday and sustained extensive injuries, said Ludowici-Long County Fire Department Capt. Richard Truman.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was life-flighted to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah after the accident. His condition is currently unknown. The Courier will post more information on the wreck as it becomes available.
