Aug. 14: Disorderly conduct — Two Liberty County residents were arrested by Liberty County Sheriff’s Office deputies following an investigation into a disturbance. One man told the deputies he was driving down Butter Blount Road toward Pate Rogers Road when he passed the other man, who was mowing his yard. That man supposedly shouted something at him, so he stopped and gave him an obscene gesture.

The two men admitted they were cussing at each other while in the presence of a 6-year-old boy and were arrested.
