Interference of custody, April 22, 2007
Blue Jay Lane, Midway

A complainant told deputies she went to pick up her children and the man who had them refused to give them back. She stated he had the children since April 17, yet has no legal right to them.

Arson, April 24, 2007
JV Road, Hinesville

A man reported he saw smoke coming from a wooded area across the street from his house and two juveniles running towards the fire with a bucket of water. When he talked to the children, they said they were playing in the woods when they saw the fire and tried to put it out. The children later admitted one of them accidentally started the fire while playing with a lighter.

Talmadge Road, Walthourville

A man told deputies that while he was inside a store paying for gasoline, someone reached into the door pocket on the driver’s side of his car and stole his gun.

Disorderly conduct, April 24, 2007
Fort Morris Road, Midway

Two brothers, who were reportedly intoxicated, began to argue and one of them threatened to strike the other with a cement block. He also allegedly tried to hit him with a construction level. The complainant was advised of warrant procedures.

Live Oak Church Road, Hinesville

A woman stated reported someone took a kiddy pool from her yard and a handsaw and other hardware from her front porch. She was unsure of the exact date the items were taken.

A woman, driving what was described as a Lexus, drove off without paying for $44 worth of gas.
