Deputy H. Weyman Chapman Jr. of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office recently completed a basic radar operator course taught by the Georgia Police Academy Division of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth.
The course is designed to improve the effectiveness of speed enforcement through the proper and efficient use of police traffic radar speed-measurement instruments in order to help reduce speed-related incidents.
