John Orr of South Lyon, Mich., was shot Friday night at the Griffin Ridge Wildlife Management Area in Long County on Highway 84, Georgia Bureau of Investigation Agent Mike McDaniel said.
Nathaniel Nix, 39, of Baxley, was arrested by GBI agents with the assistance of the Appling County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect was charged with conspiracy to commit murder and aggravated assault.
The case is under investigation. No additional details are available.
