Ribbon Cutting for S.O.N.G.

Hinesville, GA – The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Save Our Next Generation (S.O.N.G.) on Monday, August 23 at the Hinesville Business Center located at 740 General Stewart Way, Suite 202 in Hinesville.

Chamber & CVB CEO, Leah Poole, welcomed those in attendance and introduced Jimmy Shanken, Chairman of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce. Shanken congratulated the founder of S.O.N.G., Mrs. Lisa Brown and welcomed her as a new member of the Chamber family.

Chairman Donald Lovette with the Liberty County Board of Commissioners and Councilman Karl Riles from the City of Hinesville offered brief remarks and congratulations to Mrs. Brown. 

S.O.N.G. is a non-profit organization specializing in anti-bullying efforts. They have partnered with the Liberty County Recreation Department in order to see their programming expand. 

Established in 1976, the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to support new and existing business, trade and industry within Liberty County, while increasing the cultural, civic, educational and overall quality of life of its citizens. The Chamber and its’ 500 members are committed to enhancing the local business climate and maintaining a high quality of life in the community.
