Schools graduation rate hits new high mark

The Liberty County School System announces its 2025 graduation rate of 91.6%, reflecting the district’s ongoing focus on academic success and student growth.

At the school level, Bradwell Institute achieved a graduation rate of 92.3%, showing an increase from the previous year. Liberty County High School recorded a graduation rate of 90.9%, demonstrating the dedication of students, staff, and families working together to support student success.

The average across the state was 87.2%.

Superintendent Debra Frazier praised the efforts across the district.

“We are extremely proud of our scholars, faculty/staff, administrators, and families for their hard work and perseverance,” she said. “These results highlight our ongoing focus on preparing our scholars to be college/ career ready.”

Combined, there were 651 graduates from Bradwell Institute and Liberty County High School in 2025, and 115 of them were dual-enrolled in college courses. The graduation rate in 2024 for Liberty County’s two public high schools was 90.4%, eclipsing the state average of 85.7%.

The school system’s overall graduation rate in 2023 was 89.5%.
